To kick-off the 2013-14 Faculty & Staff Giving Campaign, receptions were held at each campus. Thank you to all of the faculty and staff who stopped by during the events to enjoy donuts, fruit and coffee while learning about the impact our gifts make on campus.

Through the support of 80 faculty & staff members, we’ve raised over $27,000 as of January 15, 2014 through the 2013-14 Faculty & Staff Campaign. Thank you to those who have chosen to make their voice heard through their financial support. A heartfelt thank you go out to those individuals.

I hope you’ll take a moment to scroll through the presentation below, which highlights why faculty and staff members chose to support Medaille and its students and how impactful gifts to the Annual Fund are.

Why is faculty and staff giving so important?

Contributions from current and retired faculty and staff provide funding for programs, departments, and scholarships at Medaille College. Equally as important is the strong message sent to those outside the college community. Faculty and staff giving announces to alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and community partners that we support Medaille College and feel it is worthy of their support, too.

Your generous gifts of time and talent to Medaille College are what help keep this institution strong and positioned for continued success. Equally important is the understanding that our connection to the students and our mission is imperative to building and maintaining a solid foundation for growth. Faculty and staff work daily to make Medaille College better and help our students prepare for the future.

A gift to the Annual Fund can help support programs that will continue to strengthen Medaille College and help current faculty, staff and students achieve even greater success. Many of you have made a commitment to this effort already in fiscal year 13, and we are extremely thankful. For those of you who are new to Medaille College or who have not yet thought about making a gift, please consider participating in the annual faculty and staff campaign.

Your participation also sends a powerful message to students, alumni, friends and potential supporters – that everyone at Medaille is committed to our mission of providing a quality education and to student success!

How can I make my gift?

Employees can direct their gifts to the College, campus, or program of their choice through a payment option that works best for them, including payroll deduction.

  • Payroll deduction (Your gift is deducted from your paycheck twice each month). Download the online payroll deduction form .
  • Write a check payable to Medaille College.
  • Give online with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).

Please join with the many other colleagues and friends who make it a priority to give a gift to Medaille College. We look forward to our combined efforts in serving our students, and we appreciate your commitment to Medaille College.

I'm grateful for the education I've received.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
