Academic Probation

  • What is Academic Probation?
  • Students on academic probation are required to sign a probationary contract prior to the start of the semester. As implied in the probation contract, each student must meet with an Academic Achievement Specialist within the first two weeks of the semester.  The initial meeting is to discuss academic history and strategies for success by completing an Academic Success Plan, which will require students to attend individual appointments, tutoring sessions and/or workshops throughout the semester.
  • Students can schedule their appointments with an Academic Achievement Specialist through the Academic Support Center site
  • An Academic Achievement Specialist is a professional staff member who will assist you in developing strategies for academic improvement. Contact information for Academic Achievement Specialists
