Medaille
College is chartered by the Board of Regents of The University
of the State of New York. It is accredited by the Commission on
Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and
Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, (215) 662-5606.
The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting
agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and The Council
for Higher Education Accreditation. The College's degree programs
are registered by the New York State Education Department, Office
of Higher Education, Cultural Education Center, Room 5B28, Albany,
NY 12230, (518) 474-5851. Medaille College, through its Business
Department, has the following degree programs accredited by the
International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE):
the Master of Business Administration Degree; the Bachelor of Business
Administration Degree; the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration, in Financial Services, and in Sports Management;
and the Associate in Science Degree in Veterinary Technology is
accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
The College's memberships include the Commission on Independent
Colleges and Universities, the Association of Governing Boards
of Universities and Colleges, and The Council of Independent Colleges.
