Program
Description
Medaille
College offers a program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Education
degree and New York State Certification Pre K-6 or a program leading
to New York State Certification Pre K-6.
The
Requirements for the program are:
Each
applicant for a provisional certificate is required to achieve
a satisfactory level of performance on the liberal arts and sciences
portion and on the written assessment of teaching skills portion
of the New York State Certification Examinations.
As
a requirement for the Educational Preparation Program Pre K-6 (B.S.
in Ed.), all students must complete their last 30 hours of course
work at Medaille College and attain a 2.50 cumulative average.
