Mental Health Counseling

Master of Arts Graduate Program

Medaille's master of arts degree in mental health counseling offers convenient courses, in-depth internships, and a comprehensive program designed for people looking for entrance into the mental health counseling field and for those who already have some experience.

Our program prepares students for the NYS licensure exam, and Canadian students who graduate from the MHC program are eligible for Canadian Counselor Certification. With a program format that requires just one weekend a month, you can change your career and change your life.

Our faculty have extensive experience in the foundations and practice of mental health counseling and their work can be found in numerous scholarly publications. Medaille’s faculty hold doctorates in psychology, counseling psychology, counselor education and clinical psychology. They are dedicated to creating a thoughtful, engaging and supportive learning environment.

Classes take place at our Amherst campus, conveniently located off the NYS Thruway in Williamsville, NY at 30 Wilson Road.
