Program Format
- Students take 4 classes per semester (12 credit hours)
- For the Fall and Spring semester, student takes 2 classes spread over 15 weeks and 2 classes in 7-1-7 format
- In the Summer, student takes one (6 credit hours) course spread over the semester and 2 classes in the 7-1-7 format
- 7+1 course starts of with a Saturday orientation and ends with a Saturday conclusion set aside for assessment and competency
15 Week Course Format
- Classes that run over the entire semester meet one night per week for 3 hours per night from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Full semester classes meet on Monday and Thursday evenings
- Each class is 3 credit hours.
7-1-7 Course Format
- Each 15 week semester is divided into two 7 week course cycles with a 1 week break separating each cycle.
- Each class taken in the 7 week format meets one night per week from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Classes also meet the first and last Saturday of the session for 4.5 hours on a Saturday (A total of 2 Saturday sessions per course or 4 Saturday session per semester)
- Each class is 3 credit hours
Students are required to complete the thesis guidance project on a research topic of their choice or 180 hour internship, depending on their individual interests.
