On Campus Opportunities
WMCB – The Lizzard
Through Medaille’s on-campus radio station, students learn the ins and outs of producing original news, sports, talk and variety shows. Many graduates employed in the radio industry recorded their first airchecks and demo tapes at WMCB.
TV Studio
Our studio facility provides space for student television program production, and the opportunity to gain experience in on-air performance, camera operation, and post-production.
Newspaper
The Perspective, Medaille’s bimonthly newspaper, is housed in a state-of-the-art facility with computer equipment that rivals some professional publications. Students prepare layout designs, investigate stories, snap photos on campus, create original graphics, sell advertising and serve as section editors. Students generate valuable portfolio content and bylines before they graduate.
