Psychology
B.S. or B.A. in Psychology
Psychology is more than just the study of the human mind and behavior. A Psychology degree can take many paths, from an exploration of child development, to studies of abnormal human behavior, to research in neuroscience. Along the way, students are exposed to basic psychology concepts, historical and current theories, and a rigorous training in methodology and research.
The Bachelor of Arts program in Psychology prepares students for graduate work in psychology, business, human services or law. Graduates enter into career fields where knowledge of human behavior and motivation is valuable, like human resources, marketing, sales and social services.
The Bachelor of Science program in Psychology prepares students for psychological research, biopsychology, health science research as well as graduate study. Medaille is one of few institutions in the region to offer a Bachelor of Science option for Psychology degrees.
Unique features of both the B.A. and B.S. degree programs include the ability to tailor the Psychology program to fit your career goals and objectives. In addition, Medaille is one of a handful of institutions in the area offering the Bachelor of Science degree option in Psychology.
