Meet Kelly A. Govern

Kelly Eagan

I mainly recruit in the Western New York area, but you can check out my complete list of schools on this page.

Medaille College is not just a place to learn, but it is a place to grow, experience, and call home.

My hometown is South Buffalo. But, I now call Snyder "home." I moved into my new home with my husband in April. Jeter, our Labrador Retriever, joined our family this summer.

Everyone will find their “perfect fit” for college. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Your senior year will be an exciting time, one that you will never forget. Make the most of it!

Education

I graduated in 1997 from Mt. Mercy Academy in Buffalo. I am an alumni of Medaille College, I graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in child and youth services.

College Activities

While a student at Medaille I was very involved in the college. I was a member of SGA, SADD, and other clubs. I was also an RA for one year in one of the houses on campus. But one of the best things I did while a student at Medaille, and maybe the reason I am where I am today, was to be a student ambassador. In 1997 I was one of only about 10 student ambassadors. Now our program has over one hundred. The ambassador program helped me grow, as well as helped me get connected to Medaille.

Fun Facts

I was married on Friday, July 13 and the day was perfect. Nothing like the Friday the 13th in October. We are also the proud parents of a fantastic new PUPPY! He is a black lab named Jeter. He is tiny now but in a few weeks I am sure he will be knocking things over! I was an Irish Dancer from the time I was 3 until 23, and between now and then I have helped out some with a friend's school teaching. I really enjoy working with the little ones!
