Eligibility
Requirements

Prospective freshmen or transfer students must be nominated by a Medaille alumnus to be eligible. Students must enroll in full-time undergraduate studies at the Buffalo campus. To be nominated, an alumnus must complete the alumni referral application, as well as write a brief statement of support as to why the student is being referred. The referring alumnus must also be graduated at the time the form is submitted.

What You Need
to Apply

A prospective freshman or transfer student may be nominated at any point prior to the start of the semester; however, the scholarship awards are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Alumni Referral Scholarship Form

Each alumnus may only refer one student per academic year and must be graduated prior to submitting their referral form. Alumni must complete the Alumni Referral Scholarship Form prior to the first semester that the incoming student will begin their studies. Students can only be nominated as an incoming, first-time freshmen or transfer student.

All nominations that meet the above criteria will be reviewed and recipients will be contacted by mail once final decisions have been made. The scholarship forms will continue to be accepted until we’ve awarded the maximum number of scholarships available for the year.
