Is Buffalo really a housing boom town?  Demand for housing in the city of Buffalo has been on the upswing for the past several years.  Former warehouses, churches, schools and other shuttered buildings are being transformed into creative lofts, apartments and condos.  Who, or what, is creating this demand for housing?

Join keynote speaker by Brendan Mehaffy, Executive Director, City of Buffalo Office of Strategic Planning, as he reviews the impact new and creative housing has had on the City.  He’ll discuss infrastructure and what needs to be done to provide the quality of life residents will expect.  Mr. Mehaffy will also examine what he believes the future holds as the City welcomes more residents and how long it can sustain this welcomed growth.

Jonathan Epstein, Development Reporter for The Buffalo News, will then lead a panel of developers as they discuss the various development opportunities the city offers.  They’ll discuss available inventory, what kind of housing is being offered and plans for the future.

Panelists include:

Nick Sinatra, CEO, Sinatra & Company Real Estate

William Paladino, CEO, Ellicott Development Co.

Jake Schneider, CEO, Schneider Development, LLC

Paul Ciminelli, Pres. and CEO, Ciminelli Real Estate Development
