Career Issues
Through Medaille's Career Planning and Placement Center a range of services are available to help you clarify your interests and skills, learn about career options and find work that is meaningful and satisfying for you.

Assessment instruments can help narrow down your options into one or two areas of strong interest. This service is free to Medaille students and is strongly encouraged for undeclared or students changing majors.

What Can I Do with this Major?
Reviewing job titles associated with academic majors can be helpful for those students who are still in the decision stage.This link offers job titles, industries employing the major, strategies for successful entry as well as a host of links helpful for career exploration as well as the job search.
Job Search Workshops
Each semester job search workshops are offered during the 12:00 p.m. lunch break and 5:00 p.m. dinner break. Fifty minutes in length, they offer a wealth of information regarding your upcoming internship or job-search.

Employer Database
This database is a collection of organizations who have recruited through Medaille's Career Planning & Placement office. This information is helpful to students and alumni during their job search. As a student or alumnus, you can research companies, contact names, and job titles, by visiting our office.

Credential Files
Are required for all education majors seeking employment in the U.S.Students may submit letters of recommendations from faculty, internship supervisors, and employers to be housed in the Career Planning and Placement Office and then mailed to potential employers at your request.
