Electronic Billing from the Business Office
Medaille is going green!
Medaille College has converted to electronic billing (e-bills). Students will be receiving notification via e-mail that an e-bill is available for viewing. The e-bill will be active for new billings as of April 1, 2009. If a student has an outstanding balance from a term that was previously billed an e-bill will not be available.
Students can set up alternate e-mail addresses to receive the e-bill notification at. You can also set up authorized users, for e-bills. An authorized user would be given access only to the e-bill, not any other function of MedailleOne.
The new e-bill function will look different from the paper statements that are sent and will give students more detailed information regarding your student account. For example, the current courses that a student is being billed for will be listed on the e-bill, as well as a summary of the student account and a detailed listing of current activity. There is also a direct link to pay the bill with a credit card via the web.
This is all being done in an effort to help Medaille College become more Eco-friendly. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Business Office at studentaccounts@medaille.edu.
Questions about accessing your e-bill?
If you are having problems viewing your electronic bill, the problem is usually one of 2 things:
Pop up blockers: you will need to allow pop-up windows from that site.
Internet Explorer 8 is not compatible with the E-Bill software.
If you have installed/updated to Internet Explorer 8, the following steps can be taken to allow the e-bills.
- Click on Tools menu
- Select Compatibility View Settings.
- In the “Compatibility View Settings” dialog, tick the check box for Display all websites in Compatibility View option.
- Click on Close button when done. User will need to close the Internet session and re-open a new Internet Explorer.
If this does not fix your problem, please contact the Medaille College IT help desk at (716) 880-2282.
