Admissions Counselor

The Enrollment Management Division at Medaille College has a recruitment opportunity available as a part of the admissions leadership team. The successful candidate will have a number of responsibilities for recruiting students throughout Western and Central New York, including implementing recruitment strategies, interviewing students and families, representing Medaille College at admissions events, meeting with school counselors, event planning, tele-counseling, territory management and outcomes analysis, and application follow through and review.

The position involves travel, day, evening and weekend hours. The applicant should have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. The position requires at least a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in Admissions or Private Higher Education. Knowledge of the strategic use of financial aid to leverage enrollment is a plus. The applicant should possess strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Adjunct Instructors

Medaille College seeks adjunct instructors to teach on-line classes in its proposed Bachelor in Professional Studies in Health Information Administration (BPS HIA). Individuals who are certified as registered health information administrators, have experience working in the field, and have a minimum of a Master’s degree should apply. Online instructional experience is preferred.

Admissions Counselor/Assistant Director of Admissions - Rochester Campus

The Admissions Office of the School of Adult and Graduate Education at Medaille College, Rochester Campus is seeking a full-time, goal oriented, self-starter for our Accelerated Learning Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads through corporate visits, setting-up and maintaining relationships with colleges and non–profit organizations, for the recruitment and ultimately the enrollment of students into the associate, bachelor, and master’s degree programs in Business. Additionally, counsel applicants through the admission and financial aid processes providing individual and personal service which is the hallmark of our office.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred; experience in college admissions is preferred or sales; must be outgoing, resourceful, motivated, and willing to contribute to a multi-campus admissions team; must possess strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to give presentations; must be able to work in common Microsoft software applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Other qualifications: Must own a car with automobile insurance and have a valid driver’s license; some evenings and weekends required.

Clinical Faculty (Assistant/Associate)

Medaille College in Buffalo, NY is seeking applicants for a full-time clinical faculty position in the proposed Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology.  Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and be licensed or license eligible in NY.  Successful applicants will have graduate level teaching, clinical supervision, and dissertation advisement experience preferably in a program based on the practitioner-scholar model, a strong record of clinical experience, and a strong and on-going record of scholarly/professional activity.  Interest and experience in psychological assessment, psychodynamic psychotherapy, diversity, and/or clinical child psychology are preferred.
