medaille college of buffalo, new york, offers you the opportunity to concentrate on creative writing as an english major. situated on a small, parklike campus in the heart of buffalo, our creative writing track offers poetry and fiction writing students the ability to receive individualized attention from well-published authors and world-renowned editors and literary critics. we boast one of the best reading series in the city, as well as a student literary magazine and community writing workshops. we are home to the highly regarded online poetry journal slope, its poetry press slope editions, and recognized avant-garde fiction publisher starcherone books.

receiving credit for working with the above presses, our students have published creative and critical work in respected national magazines; attended literature conferences around the country; become co-editors of literary journals; and received internships at places like artvoice and the olmsted conservancy.
