The Mini-Veterinary School, presented by Medaille College and the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society, is a five-week series of lectures by the most accomplished and dynamic veterinarians in the area. For two hours every Tuesday evening in October, they will lead you on a fascinating journey of discovery. Each lecture will be a "course" in a subject covered in veterinary school.
Mini-Veterinary School graduates will not be eligible to practice veterinary medicine, but will have a better understanding of their pets' health! They will, however, receive a certificate attesting to the completion of 10 hours of veterinary science. The October 8 session will cover:
Urine My Care (Kidney disease)
David Brummer, DVM, Dipl. ACVIM
Hippy Hippy Shake (Hip dysplasia)
Rene vanEe, DVM, DACVS
Mini-Veterinary School sessions are on every Tuesday evening in October 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. (Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. for the first session in order to receive your course materials.)

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
