Welcome Weekend for First-time Freshmen

Once you have been accepted to the College as a first-time freshman through the Admissions Office and attended the College Connection Program, one of the next steps in your enrollment process is Welcome Weekend. This is a mandatory and exciting program for all first-time freshmen!
This year’s theme, Making our Mark on Buffalo and the World, will be an engaging, informative and fun experience for all! In order to acquaint you to the College we have designed a comprehensive Program with one goal in mind: your early success as a Medaille student.

Mission Statement and Goals
Welcome Weekend at Medaille College assists new students and their families in their successful transition to our institution. New students will be exposed to the broad educational opportunities, both academic and co-curricular, thus developing a holistic student experience. Welcome Weekend promotes a heightened awareness and respect for diversity and will increase students’ awareness of the interconnectedness of the campus and Buffalo communities.
Our Goals are to contribute to the intellectual growth and personal and educational goals of the incoming student and to expose students to leadership and the development of healthy behaviors, interpersonal relationships and social responsibility.
