BOCES Scholarship, Amount: $2500 towards tuition

This scholarship is available to NYS high school students that successfully complete a minimum of one year in a BOCES high school, credit-bearing program. Students must self-identify their participation in the program and are responsible for supplying supporting documentation and transcripts. The scholarship is good for up to four years of consecutive, full-time, undergraduate study. No additional application required.

 

Alumni Referral Scholarship, Amount: $1000 towards tuition

This scholarship is offered to exceptional students that are referred by and recommended through a Medaille College alumnus. The application is available through the Alumni webpage and must be submitted by the alumnus themselves. Referring alum must be graduated from Medaille College prior to date of submission. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of consecutive, full-time, undergraduate study.

 

Geographic Diversity Grant, Amount: $2500 towards residential living

This grant is available to new, incoming, domestic freshmen and transfer students that currently reside:

  • outside of NYS, or
  • outside of one of the following NYS counties: Erie and Niagara.

Award is renewable for up to four years of consecutive, full-time study and on-campus living.

 

Sibling Grant, Amount: $500 per sibling per year, towards tuition

This award is offered to siblings attending Medaille College as full-time, undergraduate students in the same semester. Students must self-identify. Confirmation will take place through the financial aid process. Award is available on a semester basis while siblings are simultaneously registered, for up to four years of consecutive, full-time, undergraduate study.

 

SUNY Community College Grant, Amount, $2500, towards housing

This award is offered to students transferring into Medaille College from a NYS SUNY Community College. SUNY Community College must be student’s most recently attended school. Eligibility for award is determined at time of acceptance. Award is renewable for up to four years of continuous full-time study or until associate or bachelor degree completion, whichever occurs first.

 

I HEART WNY Room & Board Scholarship, Amount: Up to $5000, towards housing

This scholarship is available to students currently residing in the NYS counties of Erie and Niagara. Students must complete online application found at www.medaille.edu/wny. Scholarships range from $500 to $5000 and are renewable for up to four years of consecutive, full-time, undergraduate study and on-campus living.

 

Phi Theta Kappa Honors Scholarship, Amount: $2500, towards tuition

Medaille College recognizes the outstanding academic achievement of Phi Theta Kappa transfer students with a $2500 scholarship in addition to their merit scholarship. Student must provide proof of membership in PTK Honors Society. Award is renewable for up to four years of continuous full-time study or until bachelor degree completion, whichever occurs first.

 

Urban Assembly Housing Scholarship

This award is available to new, incoming freshmen that meet the following requirements:

  • Attend an Urban Assembly High School,
  • Have earned an overall GPA of 85 or greater, and
  • Have earned an SAT combined best score of 900.

Award is renewable for up to four years of consecutive, full-time study and on-campus living. No additional application required. Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (716) 880-2200 for additional information.

 

Total amount of additional scholarships and grants may not exceed the cost of tuition or $5000.
