In fall 2008, Medaille College will offer freshmen students a chance to
explore the city of Buffalo and to think and write about the role of the city
in their future and ours. These first-year learning communities will
familiarize students with new ways of experiencing the city—beyond
shopping malls, professional sporting events and movie theatres.
Students will deepen their knowledge of social, economic and political issues, key to a civic and sustainable future in WNY. They will learn from their hands-on experiences and from interaction with key political, business and human service leaders in our community.
