Transcript Clerk

Manager of Creative Assets

The successful Manager of Creative Assets candidate will be an enterprising and entrepreneurial individual charged with participating in the successful oversight and management of all aspects of Medaille’s online marketing and web sites. Additional roles include: developing and storyboarding all creative assets for photography and videography; and directing creative staff  to ensure brand consistency.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Leads in overseeing the look and feel of the College’s web sites, including the web design parameters, style guides, visual standards, programming standards, and ADA accessibility standards.
• Collaborates with institutional leaders and vendor partners to define the marketing requirements for the College web sites and manages and/or provides expert-level participation in the site development process through the use of user testing, customer support feedback, and translating business goals into functional requirements.
• Oversees the internal marketing analysis and reporting function, including developing success-analysis strategies and approaches for evaluating the effectiveness of print and electronic marketing campaigns and partners with external vendors to achieve similar goals with outsourced services.
• Directs, establishes, maintains, and enforces policies for all online marketing and web site content
• Oversees the College’s content management and online communications infrastructure, online communication standards, training, support and workflow processes that enable Medaille’s network of subject matter experts to maintain web sites that reflect College branding and communications goals.
• Participates in the College’s alumni and public relations functions through leadership of the alumni magazine editorial board; participation in communications campaign development and coordination; providing hands-on assistance with the development and effective distribution of official communications including press releases; and with occasional assistance with communications project management, writer and freelancer oversight, copy proofing and editing, and contributing original writing.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, new media, communications, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.  Seven to ten years of full-time, professional interactive marketing/interactive media employment; three to five years of experience managing interactive marketing and/or online technology projects.  Ability to successfully communicate, educate, motivate and lead creative, technical and executive-level personnel in defining business goals and web/interactive communication solutions.  Superior analytical and project management abilities; action-orientation for moving projects from concept to implementation; and detail-oriented work style, with the ability to manage projects of competing priorities within deadlines, communicate project status reliably throughout the College, and maintain poise under pressure.

Academic Services Coordinator

Medaille College is seeking a full-time Academic Services Coordinator.  This position supports the development, review, and publishing of on-ground and online instructional systems, materials, and software, as well as outcomes assessment, new program development, faculty training, and quality assurance.  This position requires proficiency in writing and editing, a clear understanding of the pedagogy of adult learning, and familiarity with educational technology.  Master’s degree in Education or English is preferred; familiarity with curriculum development, Blackboard, and online learning is preferred.  Individual must work well within a team environment, be able to multi-task, and work well under deadlines.

Assistant Director of Admissions/Admissions Counselor

The Enrollment Management Division at Medaille College has a recruitment opportunity available as a part of the admissions team for an Assistant Director of Admissions/Admissions Counselor (depending on experience).  The successful candidate will have a number of responsibilities including but not limited to recruiting qualified prospective students; attending  college fairs and other related activities; reviewing and evaluating prospective student applications; effectively managing an individual territory including recruitment travel, prospective student interviews, and group sessions; manages ongoing communication with prospective students and their families; acting as a liaison to other departments and programs; building recruitment plans in new areas and building on past success in established areas; maintaining territorial management follow-up (phone calls, emails, other written communication etc.). Campus Public Safety Officer

Medaille College Campus Public Safety Department seeks campus public safety officers.  Officers will be responsible for providing a safe and secure campus environment for a diverse community of students, faculty and campus departments.

Officers will patrol campus buildings, grounds and parking lots, control traffic and parking as necessary, and provide customer service to the college community.  Their primary responsibility will be to work proactively with the students, faculty, and staff to identify report, reduce, and remove the opportunity of crime and criminal behavior before it should occur.

Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills and be capable of handling and learning a wide variety of tasks.  Two years or 60 College credits preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Successful candidate must possess a current New York State Security Guard License, clean valid NYS Drivers license and certification in emergency first aid and/or CPR.  Previous campus public safety, security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Clinical Assistant Professor, Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology

Medaille College is actively seeking applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor to teach in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (PsyD). Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related specialty from an APA-accredited program and be licensed or license eligible in NY. The PsyD Program, which is designated as a licensure-qualifying program in New York, is based on the practitioner-scholar model and accepted its first group of students in September 2012.

Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program

This is a twelve-month position. The successful candidate will teach a wide range of graduate-level courses in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; advise, mentor, and supervise students as they move through their clinical placements; engage in activities that contribute to scholarship within the profession; and provide service to the graduate program, the department, and the College. The sucessful candidate will also contribute to the CACREP accreditation process. An earned doctorate in Counselor Education is required; candidates who are ABD may also be considered if the applicant is near completion. The successful candidate must be either New York State licensed or license-eligible as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and have at least three years of clinical and/or teaching experience at the graduate level in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Experience and/or interest in teaching in an online format is preferred.

The College offers its master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at its Rochester, Buffalo, and Online Campuses, which provide academic preparation for students who wish to pursue licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in New York State (LMHC). The program is designed for working adults, and on-ground classes are offered in a weekend format; the online program utilizes an asynchronous format. Network Engineer

Medaille College is accepting applications for a Network Engineer.  In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for day to day support and maintenance of all infrastructure devices including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, Cisco VOIP and wireless systems.  This position will also provide infrastructure support for various devices/systems that are part of the network as well as server and system support.

School of Education:  Full-time, Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Literacy

Applicants are being sought for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in Literacy to begin August 15, 2014.  The successful candidate will become part of the School of Education Literacy Program which offers a masters degree in Literacy.  This program prepares graduates to become empowered classroom teachers, reading specialists, and/or literacy coaches/consultants. Literacy faculty also teach classes in reading to both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing their initial certification in education.

The School of Education seeks candidates with expertise in reading research and theory, extensive knowledge of the processes of literacy acquisition as well as the assessment and intervention for the struggling reader and writer.  The candidate must possess a terminal degree in Literacy/Reading or expect to complete a doctorate by the fall of 2014.  A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching at.preschool, elementary, or middle/high school level is required.  Successful college-level teaching is preferred.  The faculty at Medaille College is expected to consistently demonstrate scholarly growth.
