The Amanda K. Olcott “Lead By Example” Leadership Award
Students in the Leadership Program are eligible for the Amanda K. Olcott “Lead By Example” Leadership Award, established to honor the memory of an inspiring young woman who was dedicated to the education of our world community and to service learning.
The purpose of this award is to honor a student with outstanding performance in Medaille College’s Leadership Program, contributions to the Medaille community through participation in campus programming, and contributions to the outside community through exemplary efforts in a service learning initiative.
Recipient will receive a plaque during the Leadership Awards Banquet at the end of the spring semester each year.
Students will be nominated by a committee of administrators who have direct contact with the Leadership Program.
Qualifications
Student(s) must have a minimum of a 3.75 GPA.
Student(s) must be an upperclassman (junior or senior standing) in the leadership program.
Student(s) must have shown outstanding performance in the Leadership Program.
Student(s) must have contributed to the Medaille community through participation in campus programming.
Student(s) must have made contributions to the outside community through exemplary efforts in a service learning initiative.
