Annual Founders Day Celebration presented by

Each year Medaille College celebrates its history and investment in the City of Buffalo and promotes education access at the Founders’ Day Celebration. Founders’ Day scholarships provide students with opportunities to a Medaille education, a proven route to career success and a lifelong commitment to a civic and sustainable future. During Founders’ Day, members of the community have an opportunity to see some of the faces of the College, and learn how they are shaping the future of Western New York.

The 2016 event held on June 9 at the Lexus Club welcomed 200 guests and provided for over 30 scholarships thanks to the generosity of our corporate and individual partners. The memorable evening featured Buffalo Sabres legend Danny Gare as a special guest, WBBZ’s John DiSciullo as emcee and auctioneer, and live music from the George Caldwell/Bobby Militello Duo. In addition, Charles E. Moran, Jr. was honored as the fifth member of the College’s Heritage Council. Moran, the chair of Medaille’s Board of Trustees, also served as co-chair of Founders’ Day 2016 with his wife, Diane, and fellow trustee Heidi Raphael '85.
