About Dr. Marianne Sullivan:

Over the span of Marianne Sullivan’s 25+ year career, she has developed a strong mindset of participative management and leadership principles. "I have worked for and with major corporations and higher education institutions that have stressed quality business strategy, organizational design and quality improvement," says Sullivan. "I share these anecdotes and strategies from my experiences in my classes."

Dr. Sullivan believes that most successful business people are strong communicators and stresses these skills with her students. Dr. Sullivan said, "My goal is to create a classroom atmosphere of discussion and debate using case studies, business simulation activities, role playing, and real-world problem solving." She regularly invites guests, experts in the field, to join her in classroom activities.

Dr. Sullivan began her career as a computer analyst for a Western New York company. She then went on to hold several directorship and management positions in industry and higher education and then joined Medaille in 2003. She completed her doctoral and master’s degrees from SUNY Buffalo.
