Cross Country

Allison Carr heads into her second season as the head coach of the cross country team. The 2007 season is the second in which Medaille will have both men and women running for them.

Their head coach has an extensive running background as the Penn State grad has garnered the Buffalo News Runner of the Year honors four times (’03, ’04, ’05, '07), as well as being named the Rochester Runner of the Year in 2004. Prior to coming to Medaille, Allison coached at West Seneca West High School as well as at Immaculata Academy.

As a runner she has set several (local and Rochester) course records for distances from 1 mile – 10k; personal achievements include (distance/time): 800m (2:10); 1 mile (4:52); 5k (16:46) and 10k (35:46). Her extensive knowledge of the sport and her personal experiences are a tremendous asset for the Medaille Cross Country program.

Allison currently resides in West Seneca where she lives with her fiancé Gary and their sons, Gary and Caleb.
