Golf

2006-07

The Medaille College varsity golf program is set to begin its third season in the AMCC. In 2004 Medaille finished 8th in the AMCC Championships and placed 5th in 2005. They look to build on that momentum and will be in search of a conference championship in hopes of earning a berth to the NCAA tournament.

The program has revamped its coaching staff, naming John Edholm as head coach and Marlene Davis as an assistant. Edholm is a former president & CEO of a local company who possesses a very strong competitive spirit. Davis is a certified LPGA teaching pro who continues to play competitively in national tournaments. The Medaille golf team will utilize two local courses for practice and play as Glen Oak and the Buffalo Tournament Club will serve as home sites.
