The Lady Mavs had another incredible season as they tied a record for wins in a season finishing with a (26-3) overall record and they dominated the AMCC for a third straight year with a (17-1) record. The Lady Mavs won their third consecutive AMCC regular season and tournament titles. Once again Medaille found itself back in the NCAA Tournament as they traveled to the University of Scranton to take on the host team who has been to seven final fours in their history. The Lady Mavs would prevail in round one over Scranton (56-54) before falling to national power University of Rochester (69-50) in the second round. The Lady Mavs would see the remarkable careers of a trio of seniors come to an end as Amanda Baker (Lyons, NY/Newark), Marisa Clark (Hilton, NY/Hilton) and Amanda Walling (South New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) said goodbye to the basketball program. Those three along with their teammates left a huge mark on the program as they finish their four years with a (95-17) record, 3 AMCC Championships, and 3 trips to the NCAA Tournament. They also rewrote the record book at Medaille as Baker leaves as the top scorer and rebounder with (1,850) points and (1,103) rebounds. Clark finished atop the assists and steals lists with (656) assists and (408) steals. The (656) steals is 7th best of all time in NCAA Division III women's basketball history, she also ends up second in scoring with (1,321) points. As for Walling she will be remembered as a tremendous all around player finishing 5th in scoring, 3rd in rebounding, 2nd in assists, 2nd in steals, and 2nd in three point field goals made. Three year starting senior center, Sara Bukas (Hamburg, NY/Holy Angels) was a force in the middle for Medaille as she shattered the all time blocks mark finishing with (182) for her career. Another milestone was reached in the 2007-2008 season as head coach Pete Lonergan (2 time AMCC Coach of the Year) reached the (100) win plateau, and he did so in only (127) games. His career record at Medaille now stands at (108-29). The Lady Mavs achieved a program best #12 national ranking during the 2007-2008 season as they spent the majority of the season in the national Top 25.
