Coach Mark Metz

Mark is a graduate of Alfred State College and the Culinary Institute of America.

He has 32 years of bowling experience.

Mark has maintained a bowling average of 205 for the past 15 years.  He boasts a high game of 287, high set of 758 and a highest average of 217 at Wimbledon Lanes.  In 2001, Mark finished in 7th place in the men’s New York State ABC’s in Canandaigua, NY.

During his four years of varsity bowling at Depew High School, Mark helped the Wildcats win four division titles and participated in the ECIC Division IV Sectionals.  He also finished in third place in the state finals at Canandaigua, NY. In April of 2007 Mark bowled a perfect game (300) at the Tonawanda Bowling Center. He is a certified USBC coach as well.

“This is an exciting moment for me as Medaille’s first women’s bowling coach.  I am confident I can guide the Lady Mavs into being a competitive team.”

Mark and his wife Colleen, a Human Resources manager at Independent Health, have a daughter, Dana, and a son, Ryan, who are both attending Medaille College and represent the Mavericks in women’s and men’s volleyball.
