Women's Lacrosse

2006 Summary

Statistics and Results

2006 Outlook

The Medaille College women’s lacrosse season is coming off their best season in school history lead by third year coaches Daniel J. Krzyzanowicz and Nicholas Wagner.

The Mavs will look to rebuild a bit after graduation of 2005 team captains Jamie Gergorio and Lindsey Kennedy. “Losing Jamie, who is the school’s all time leading scorer, and Lindsey who was the best goalie we ever had here will not be an easy task.”

The team does however return leading scorer; sophomore Kim Coleman. Other contributors in the offensive end will be sophomore Jenna O’Malley, junior Tera Tinti, senior Danielle Bielinski, and freshman Lisa Aunger and Melyssa Tollar.

Defensively, the team will be lead by ground ball ace sophomore Amina Diallo. Others looking to make their presence felt defensively will be Coleman, Aunger, senior Kelly Bineau, and freshman Bidget Helak, Sharon Baker, and Kim Stencel.

Others that will compete for playing time will be: junior Mary Hontz, sophomores Taranne Kogler, and freshman Colleen Anderson, Megan Murphy, Chrissy Detor, Janine Bryan, and Stephanie Kramer.
