Women's Soccer

Cumulative Season Stats

2006 Season Outlook

The Medaille Mavericks Women's Soccer Program enters their third season under head coach Daniel J. Krzyzanowicz with very high hopes, after making the AMCC playoffs the past 2 seasons and qualifying for the ECAC tournament a year ago. Coach K's squad will return 5 starters and 10 varsity letter winners from the 2005 squad. The squad has a lot of new faces, but we are looking for many of these new players to step in and make an immediate impact on our team. "This team's success will be based on how quickly the new players can unite with returning players and start working together as one," said Coach K. "I am very excited about this up coming season. With such a new and young team (only 2 seniors) it is going to take some time for the players to learn the system, but if they continue to work hard and mesh together they should be competitive.`

The Mavericks felt last year they played a difficult schedule but have increased the difficulty level yet again this season, adding non-conference opponents like Westminster (top 25), Grove City, SUNY Morrisville, and Buffalo State, along with Wells College, Alfred University, and local teams D'Youville and NAIA scholarship team Daemen. "We really wanted to play a very strong non-conference schedule to get us ready for the tough competition of the AMCC. This non-conference schedule should do exactly that, prepare us for the competition waiting for us in the AMCC," said Coach K.
