Jim Thompson, who teaches in the School of Education, served on the national advisory committee for a new DVD Series, "Creating Equity and Excellence for All Learners through Differentiated Instruction," recently published by The HOPE Foundation.

Professor Carol Ann Tomlinson from the University of Virginia is recognized as a top authority in the country on differentiating instruction. She joined with Jay McTighe, one of the top writers and thinkers in the field of teaching and learning, to put together this video series. Thompson reviewed countless film clips and gave a multitude of feedback to the project.

I'm grateful for the education I've received.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
