Medaille’s Buffalo Campus hosted Western New York United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Inc. for its Leaders in Training Program. The summer session is part of a multi-year program designed for middle school students to develop leadership and life skills, and to improve academic and social skills. Now in its third year, the program’s goals are to increase academic performance, to improve communication and decision-making skills, and to encourage students to work together as a team. Approximately 120 students from 13 Buffalo-area schools participated.

I'm grateful for the education I've received.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
