In response to the recent burglary of Hearts for the Homeless, Medaille's men's basketball team has offered to serve as mentors - "big brothers" - to the five young children who were seen stealing from the organization on surveillance video.

The organization, for which Nick Calandra '11 is corporate secretary, runs a thrift shop in the Riverside area of Buffalo. With a 20 year history of operation, the organization is "commited to feeding and clothing poor and homeless men, women and children in the city of Buffalo."

I'm grateful for the education I've received.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
