Medaille College and its "Medaille 100" challenge, developed in conjunction with the ARAMARK Higher Education team, was featured in the September/October issue of Facilities Manager, a publication of APPA. The article recognized Medaille as one of five nationwide winners for its 2011 Effective & Innovative Practices Award. 

The article outlines how Medaille used student engagement to reduce energy consumption on campus, which contributed, in part, to a 15 percent savings in less than two years. 

The program served as a model that could be incorporated into environmental initiatives at other colleges.
