This September, Medaille College celebrated a new addition to campus – the expanded and renovated Kevin I. Sullivan Campus Center. The official ribbon cutting of the Campus Center took place on Wednesday, September 26. “The Sully,” as it’s referred to by students, now has a 700-person events arena, a new fitness center, an expanded bookstore, a late-night café, athletic suite, and increased and enhanced student lounge space.
At the Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Wed., Board of Trustees Chair Charles E. Moran, Jr. said, “The board has committed to reinvesting in the facilities and the people to make the experience of our students the best we can possibly make it.”
Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples-Stokes was also at the ceremony and added, “To have institutions like Medaille growing in the community I represent is very pleasing to me because I know in the future, this is where folks are going to have to go to get into the job market.”
Anthony Battaglia ’12, a member of the men’s basketball and golf team, and Danielle Dworzanski ’12, president of the student government association, also spoke at the ceremony.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
