Mark Lavatelli, professor of humanities, is collaborating with the Buffalo Chamber Players for their upcoming performance of Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire. The piece, entitled Schoenberg/Lavatelli: Pierrot Lunaire, celebrates the 100th anniversary of Arnold Schoenberg's groundbreaking chamber work.
The exhibit includes projections and an exhibit of works created for the performance by Buffalo-based visual artist Lavatelli. It takes place on Wednesday, October 24 at Buffalo Seminary; doors open at 6 p.m., performance is at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $15 and $5 for students. Janz Castelo, director of the Buffalo Chamber Players, and Lavatelli will be on Wingin’ It TV on October 24 to show their art and talk about the performance of Schoenberg/Lavatelli: Pierrot Lunaire.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
