Two Medaille faculty members have been named to notable statewide positions.

Dr. Illana Lane, Dean of the School of Education and Associate Professor of Education, has been named president elect of the New York State Association of Teacher Educators (NYS-ATE) for 2012-13.

Dr. Tim McCorry, Assistant Professor of Social Sciences, has been elected president of the New York State Sociological Association (NYSSA) for 2012-13. Dr. McCorry's selection also means that Medaille will host the NYSSA annual meeting in October 2013.
