Buffalo Bills Highlight John Murphy’s Lifetime Achievement Award From Medaillenext
The Buffalo Bills highlighted play-by-play radio broadcaster John Murphy’s recent recognition from Medaille College with a post on BuffaloBills.com. Murphy, known by fans as “Murph,” received a Lifetime Achievement Award in Radio/Television Play-by-Play at the annual Medaille Media Awards Ceremony held on March 20. Murphy has been the play-by-play announcer on Bills radio broadcasts for the last 14 seasons, and served as color commentator for the previous 17 seasons.
Also receiving a Lifetime Achievement award from Medaille was longtime Buffalo Sabres play-by-play broadcaster Rick Jeanneret. The ceremony honors individuals and organizations from local television and radio, sports broadcasting, marketing and advertising, and law enforcement that have made significant contributions to the community, and to the College’s communication program.
