A Medaille Trustee and an Alum Honored as 2017 Women of Influence by Buffalo Business Firstnext
Buffalo Business First recently honored 26 Buffalo-area women with Women of Influence awards for their incredible dedication to their organizations and the community. This year, the list included a Medaille College Board of Trustees member, as well as a Medaille alumna. The Medaille community is proud that this prestigious list honored the following women:
- Julie R. Snyder was recognized as one of the Women of Influence award recipients in the Community Supporter category. Snyder is vice president of corporate relations and special assistant to the CEO for BlueCross BlueShield of WNY, and she serves as a member of the Medaille College Board of Trustees.
- Karen Christie ’79 was recognized as one of the Women of Influence award recipients in the Nonprofit Leadership category. Christie serves as the chief human resource and community engagement officer for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County.
Medaille commends these women and all those who strive for greatness by contributing to the life and development of WNY, thereby making a difference in the lives of others.
