TEDx Buffalo Features Talk From Medaille’s Dr. Bhardwaj
Medaille Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions Dr. Kushal Bhardwaj was one of a select group of nine speakers at October’s TEDxBuffalo event. The international event series, which is held in different cities by local chapters, features inspirational lectures and performances on a variety of subjects. Dr. Bhardwaj delivered a talk titled “Does African American Studies Matter?” during the event at Asbury Hall in Buffalo. Watch video of the talk here.
The veteran educator known as “Dr. B” joined the Medaille College admissions team in 2017. He is a three-time winner of the Milton Plesur Distinguished Teaching Award and was named the Top African American Studies professor in the nation by the popular website ratemyprofessor.com.
“We were thrilled to add Dr. B to our admissions team,” says Melanie Woodling, Medaille’s Director of Undergraduate Admissions. “His didactic skills help him bond with students from Buffalo and beyond.”
Jennifer Graesser ’14, ’15 uses the skills she learned at Medaille on a daily basis in her role as director of finance for WKBW-TV.
