Dante (DSST) Exams

Medaille College recognizes that non-traditional students may possess knowledge and experiences distinguishing them from the traditional college student. Therefore, Medaille College offers undergraduate students the opportunity to obtain credit for this knowledge and those experiences through Academic Alternatives.

DSST exams are an academic alternative option. Medaille offers on-site paper-and-pencil as well as online DSST exams; students pay a fee of $140 for each examination. Medaille Online Experience students may contact Student Services for assistance in locating DSST exam centers in their geographical area.

Before taking the exam

• Medaille students should contact their Student Services Counselor at SageStudentServices@medaille.edu to be sure the exam meets degree requirements
• Non-Medaille students wishing to take a DSST exam should contact Student Services directly at 716-932-2615.
• Students not taking the exam at Medaille College should use the school code: 8045

Day of the Exam

• Students are required to bring official identification and credit card

• The cost of the exam at Medaille College is $140

• Students will be able to review their score upon completion of the exam

• Official transcripts will be sent to Medaille College within 7 to 10 days
