Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

  1. Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  2. Professional goal statement: In no more than 3 pages total, write an essay on the following:
    1. Your perception of potential success in forming effective and culturally relevant interpersonal relationships in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program
    2. Your perception of your aptitude and ability to reach the level of demands place upon you in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program
    3. Your perception of the relevance of the Clinical Mental Health Program in meeting your career goals.
  3. Professional or academic reference letters with the required reference form
  4. Interview with the Faculty Admissions Committee: Prospective students who pass the initial admissions screening will be invited to participate in an interview with members of the Faculty Admissions Committee. This may be conducted in person, Skype  or phone depending upon the prospective student’s availability

Rolling Admission

Medaille College has rolling admissions where acceptances are offered on an ongoing basis until classes are filled. You will be notified of a decision within two weeks of completing the application. To maximize your eligibility for financial aid it is in your best interest to apply early in your application process.

Conversations with the Admissions Team

You may be an online learner but we want to get to know you as an individual, and the best way to do this is for us to sit down and have a conversation. We encourage you to schedule a time to meet with us. Appointments can be arranged Monday through Thursday from 8am to 7pm, Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 12noon.
