The Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at Medaille is a practitioner-oriented program designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed for meeting the health and mental health needs of a diverse community.  Students will gain a firm grounding in the scientific and clinical underpinnings of our field and will put their learning in practice during our extensive clinical training program. We take pride in working individually with students to help them meet their training goals.

Clinical Training includes

• Personal and professional development of students in practitioner-oriented training
• Individual and small-group interaction with faculty advisors throughout the program
• Psychological assessment training with  a minimum of 500 hours assessment practicum experience
• Psychotherapy training in theory, conceptualization, individual and group therapy, and a minimum of 500 hours therapy practicum experience
• Optional concentrations: Adult Track or Child and Family Track
• Classes meet two consecutive days a week
