Off Campus Housing

Our current residency policy states that undergraduate Medaille College students who are not within commuting distance of the college and who under 21 years of age must reside on campus. Therefore, our first priority is to provide these students with on-campus accommodations.

To assist our graduate students who are not within commuting distance of the classes that they take on our Amherst Campus, the Department of Housing and Residence Life has provided the following off-campus housing and apartments information.

Given that our satellite campus is located in Amherst, NY, you want to be sure to click on the North of Buffalo link to find apartments that are an easy commute to the Amherst campus.

  • Buffalo Apartments shows apartments by region. Amherst, Williamsville, Snyder and Getzville are the suburbs that are near our Amherst campus.
  • The Buffalo News offers detailed listings of apartments that are advertised by companies and private homeowners in Buffalo and surrounding areas for short and long term leases. There is also information about furnished apartments.

The Department of Housing and Residence Life provides this information as courtesy to our students. We, as well as Medaille College, do not have a relationship with the owners, rental agents, corporations, etc. affiliated with these listings, and these listings do not imply an endorsement of these services. Students are encouraged to carefully evaluate the condition of the apartment/property and the terms of the lease before entering into any contractual agreement.

Landlords and management agencies who wish to advertise to our students should contact the Perspective, the campus newspaper, to inquire about placing an advertisement.
