February 1, 2008: Deadline for submission of Student Teacher Preference Form and Student Teacher Profile

First Student Teaching Placement

  • Canadian Students: Wednesday, September 3, 2008 – Friday, October 17, 2008
  • US Students: Wednesday, September 3, 2008 – Friday, October 17, 2008

Second Student Teaching Placement

  • Canadian Students: Monday, October 27, 2008 – Friday, December 12, 2008
  • US Students: Monday, Monday, October 27, 2008 – Friday, December 12, 2008

Interim Week: Monday, October 20, 2008 – Friday, October 24, 2008

  • Arrange to meet your 2nd placement Associate Teacher
  • Collect original evaluation forms and keep lesson observations and rubrics from your first placement
  • Attend optional seminars on resume writing and interviewing
  • Initiate an optional credential file by contacting Career Development at 1.800.292.1582, ext. 2211

Student Teaching Exit Meeting

  • Canadian Education student teachers have a mandatory student teaching exit meeting on Friday, December 12, 2008
  • US Education student teachers have a mandatory student teaching exit meeting is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2008
