Veterans Education Tuition Scholarship at Medaille College

Medaille College Centering on Veterans

When a college says it is “Military Friendly,” what does that really mean?

At Medaille College, "military friendly" means partnering with veterans, military personnel and their families to make academic success a reality. We are proud to offer two scholarship opportunities to veterans.

The Veteran Education Tuition Scholarship (VETS)

In conjunction with recent changes to the G.I. Bill, Medaille College is now offering up to $10,000 for veterans to attend Medaille College. You deserve to be rewarded for your service, and Medaille is proud to educate leaders such as yourself who have sacrificed so much for your country and Western New York. To determine if you qualify, visit our "Who Qualifies" page.

The Yellow Ribbon Scholarship

Medaille College has voluntarily entered into an agreement with the Veterans Administration (VA) to fund tuition expenses for veterans that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate.  Medaille will contribute up to 50% of these expenses and VA will match 50%. This will allow the qualifying veteran to attend Medaille College without incurring expenses related to tuition or fees.

Qualifying criteria for the The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program) can be found at the VA web site, or you can contact one of our VA Certifying Officers.
