We are a band of brothers and sisters. Medaille College’s Student Veterans Alliance (MSVA) is a Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter that regularly participates in and hosts events to honor veterans and their contributions to our country. Our SVA chapter fosters community amongst veterans and service members.
The mission of SVA Chapter of Medaille is to provide a network for all students who are currently serving, veterans and/or supporters of veterans of all branches of service in the United States Armed Forces. The SVA plans to service veterans and provide its members opportunities to continue to serve their community. It is also the goal of SVA to educate, expose and increase awareness of veteran affairs to all Medaille College Campuses. This organization will also make continues strides at helping active duty, reserved, inactive duty, and retired military personnel who are not students of Medaille College.
All students that are currently enrolled at Medaille College are welcome to be active members of SVA Chapter during the semester in which they are enrolled. All alumni, faculty, staff, or students of Medaille who do not meet the requirements of active membership are welcome as Inactive Members. Honorary membership will be reserved for such individuals who may/may not be associated with Medaille, but embody the ideals and principles. SVA Members will be accepted without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sex, sexual orientation, age, creed, citizenship, or marital status.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
