The variety of natural beauty of western New York is unparalleled. With Niagara Falls to the north, Lake Erie to the west and the rolling hills beyond the southtowns, Buffalo is uniquely located to take advantage of recreational activities on land and on the water, in sun and in snow.

Niagara Falls

As a tourist attraction, Niagara Falls hosts millions of visitors and dozens of events each year. Explore the power of this massive natural wonder with tours of the Falls and surrounding parks.

Local Parks

Delaware Park, part of the Olmstead Parks system, is within sight of Medaille's main entrance. The Erie Basin Marina offers a waterfront view of Lake Erie, perfect for an afternoon jog or a weekend picnic. The Erie County Parks system includes nature trails and preserves.

Water, Snow & Ice

Lake Erie's shores offer beaches for swimming, boat launches for windsurfing and motorboats, and competitive sailboat races throughout the summer. When the colder weather of winter sets in, thousands of Buffalo residents travel down the Thruway for skiing and snowboarding at resorts like Holiday Valley and HoliMont in Ellicottville and Kissing Bridge in Glenwood.

I'm grateful for the education I've received.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
