About James Rizzi
James Rizzi is a Ph.D. candidate at Tufts University. He is writing a dissertation that examines the metaphors that early modern authors use to elide sexual violence narratives. His primary interests are in Shakespeare and his contemporaries, but he also very much enjoys teaching academic writing classes at Medaille and elsewhere, as these classes allow him to facilitate deep discussions on important topics like where power comes from. His time in Buffalo has been brief but eventful: He married his wife in the spring of 2019, and they had their first child in Spring of 2020.
