About Michael P. Lillis
Dr. Michael P. Lillis began teaching at Medaille in 1992, where he has been a major catalyst for change and institution building initiatives. Dr. Lillis guided the original development and state certification of Medaille's MBA curriculum and program offerings. As a professor, Dr. Lillis directs the business internship program and teaches courses in organizational behavior, human resources management, operations management, statistics, and business strategy in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Having earned a Ph.D. in management and organizational behavior from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Lillis currently focuses his research on understanding how managers make decisions within organizations. He has numerous presentations and publications in the area of organizational justice, decision making, work design and organizational culture. As an organizational consultant, Dr. Lillis has conducted field research with the DuPont Chemical Company, Western New York Technology Development Center, Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, and the Buffalo Police Department.
