About Valerie Macer

Val Macer has been a member of the Medaille Veterinary Technology program since 1987.  She is a NYS licensed Veterinary Technician and an AALAS certified Laboratory Animal Technician, and has a Master’s Degree in Education.

Val is the Program Director for the Buffalo Veterinary Technology Program and teaches in both the Buffalo and the Online Medaille Veterinary Technology Programs.

She is also the President and a founding member of the Veterinary Technician Continuing Education Program of Western New York.  This organization provides RACE-approved lectures from national experts in Veterinary Medicine for members of the veterinary team.

Val shares her office with several reptiles, including a ball python and bearded dragon.
